MarCap is one of the first navigated owners and charterers of marine vessels in the UAE and Gulf region. With history tracing as far back as 1983 where she started off as a department in Al Bawardi Enterprises and known as Al Bawardi Marine Services Company (ABMS), a round of restructuring in 1996 resulted in her assuming a separate entity, with her own fleet and office. Ingrained with professionalism, sheer hard work, and a dynamic team and crew, the company achieved remarkable growth and success. Before long, ABMS had a fleet renewal in 2003 with the acquisition of larger and more advanced vessels, and was renamed as Marine Capabilities (Marcap) LLC. Marcap, which in Arabic aptly means "Boat", owns / operates a fleet of diverse vessels, encompassing Pilot Boat, Supply Vessel, PSV, Tugboat, AHT, AHTS, Crew Boat, Maintenance Vessel, Safety Standby Vessel, Cargo Barge, LCT etc., supporting the Oil & Gas and Marine Contracting industries in the Gulf and Littoral Waters of the Arabian Peninsula with the following services: 1.
