By delivering expert guidance from UT’s top students and guest speakers with years of experience, LIT is proud to produce highly skilled and well-rounded applicants.

Curriculum:

LIT offers three programs that focus on different business disciplines. Members are welcome to participate in as many or as few as they’d like.

Our investing program manages a real money portfolio, hosts trading competitions, and studies key industry topics from career paths to trading strategies.

The marketing program manages the brands of both the organization itself and small businesses spun-out of the organization. This provides instructional experience for students seeking to leverage real world marketing tactics from content marketing and SEO to planning large-scale events.

The entrepreneurship program exposes members to the startup scene at UT through relationships with Capital Factory and The Herb Kelleher Center for Entrepreneurship on campus. Members also have the opportunity to consult existing startups on campus or develop their own using group resources.
