Jotun China has 1,750 employees with headquarters in Shanghai, the total sales in 2015 is RMB 3,654 million.Jotun was founded in Norway in 1926, and after great domestic success an international expansion started in 1962 which has since taken Jotun all around the world. In 1983, Jotun established a sales office in Hong Kong and in 1988 a sales company and factory were set up with Chokwang in Busan, in the Republic of Korea. Today, Jotun employs more than 2000 employees in China and in the Republic of Korea, and has opened two state-of-the-art factories in Zhangjiagang and Qingdao, producing both paints and powder coatings.
