Impact 89FM - WDBM-FM is the student-run radio station of Michigan State University. The station was founded in 1989 with the inaugural broadcast taking place February 24, 1989.
WDBM has won the Michigan Association of Broadcasters' "College Radio Station of the Year" award 15 times since 2001 and has also been nominated for College Radio Station of the year by CMJ and a MTVu Woodie Award.
