He is a Federal Language Consultant with the National Language Service Corps (NLSC). Since 2009, he has served as President of the Foreign Area Officer Association (FAOA)--the non-profit professional association for FAOs, Defense Attachés, and other DoD international affairs specialists--and publisher of The FAOA Journal of International Affairs.
