Houston Plastic Products enjoys a rich heritage of delivering high-quality plastic products and manufacturing services for over 50 years. The company was established in the late 1940s by Fred Allen as the Fred Allen Company. In the beginning, we operated as a tool shop, and in the early 1950s we began supporting our customers with injection molding. Houston Plastic Products was eventually spun off as its own full-service plastic injection molding and custom manufacturing company. Today, we’re committed to serving customers across many industry segments, from oil & gas and industrial to healthcare and consumer products. We help customers throughout many phases of the manufacturing process, specializing in high-quality, custom components where exacting tolerances are required. Houston Plastics Products uses engineering grade resins and high-grade materials to ensure all products perform exactly as intended - with a strict adherence to our customers’ engineering specifications. Strategically-located in the heart of Houston, we have the ability to serve our customers’ needs anywhere in the world. The diversity of the Houston business climate allows Houston Plastic Products to work in a variety of industries - and take advantage of a breadth of different customer types and partners we’ve worked with over the years. In addition to injection molding of thermoplastics, Houston Plastic Products offers a full complement of services, including consulting, rapid prototyping, machining, assembly, hot stamping, ultrasonic welding, decoration, decal application, customized packaging, bar coding and more. Plus, since we have our own in-house fabrication services, we have the ability to maintain and service our customers’ molds conveniently in our own shop - saving time, money and headaches. Houston Plastic Products also maintains customer molds and all molds are kept at our facilities in a controlled environment. Our Houston facility includes 50,000 sq. ft. of space.
