About Harrogate Hospital & Community Charity

We are the Harrogate Hospital & Community Charity and Volunteering Team (HHCC)We are the charity for Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT)Our main focus is to raise funds for specialist equipment, training and services, going above and beyond the provision of the NHS to help enhance treatment and facilities which can improve the environment for staff, patients and their families in all departments and communities across HDFT.We also coordinate the volunteers for HDFT. Our amazing volunteers; enhance and improving the quality of services, improve patient experience, make a difference over and above the core responsibilities of the NHS. They add extra value and as Sammy Lambert Business Development, Charity and Volunteer Manager likes to say, ‘ Volunteers add that extra Sparkle!’
