Greenwich Association of Disabled People is one of the country’s leading disability organisations, and has been at the forefront of changing society’s perception of disabled people for more than 35 years. It is a user-led organisation, offering a range of services that are, initially, designed by our members. The Social Model of Disability is at the heart of the organisation’s philosophy, and is reflected in our Mission Statement.
Our Mission Statement is: To be a major force for positive change in Society’s perception of Disabled People, to support human rights for all Disabled People, and to be a source of empowerment for Disabled People.
