Generation One, Inc.

Generation One is a trans-denominational ministry committed to physically and spiritually rebuild the Third Ward by coordinating volunteer skills, talents and resources. We envision a community that is free from poverty and suffering and use three primary vehicles to achieve transformation: revitalization, education and adult training/employment. We entered Third Ward with one instruction: love them through the storm. The storms we encounter are generational poverty; drug selling and abuse; prostitution; teenage pregnancy; child hunger, abuse and neglect; fear; distrust and an overall lack of hope.
