Forest Environmental Ltd are specialists in asbestos removals. Over the 30 years we have been in business we’ve developed our infrastructure to support all sizes of projects in a wide range of sectors; from small but vital projects to multi-million pound contracts in challenging environments, from primary schools to the Houses of Parliament. We can also arrange detailed surveys for our clients to investigate if there are any asbestos containing materials within their premises – and to assess the level of risk if asbestos is present. Obviously in an industry such as this, health and safety is the highest priority. Our teams of directly employed staff are highly trained and we are proud of our history of exceeding industry standards. We hold a full 3-year asbestos removal licence from the Health and Safety Executive, the maximum duration a company can obtain under UK legislation. (We also hold an asbestos licence covering works in Northern Ireland and the States of Jersey). In 2015, we attained 3 year certificates in BS ISO 9001 (management systems), BS ISO 14001 (environmental management systems) and OHSAS 18001 (health and safety management systems. We have been a member of ACAD, Asbestos Control Abatement Division, since its inception in 2004. Some examples of recent work: • In the roof cavity at Banqueting House at Whitehall where attached to the ceiling is a priceless Rubens painting • In BT’s buildings throughout the UK for their Facilities Services department since 1998 • For Crossrail as works take place across London, removing asbestos in station upgrades and track works.
