We are a boutique private bank and wealth advisory firm established in the early days of the financial crisis by 31 individuals including former Chairman and CEOs of some of the most well known and successful financial and consumer firms in America. Their intent was not to craft a firm that would emulate the large, established institutions, but to serve as an alternative. It would be boutique by design. It would feature the intellectual capital of only highly experienced advisers and senior investment, wealth planning and banking professionals. It would reside not as a department within a large firm engaged in many other businesses, but as an independent firm built from the ground up to deliver highly customized, integrated wealth strategies for significant clients and institutions. It would recognize that the elements of families’ financial pictures are not discrete and disconnected, but interdependent and therefore worthy of advice and reporting that is thoroughly integrated across the balance sheet, regardless of where accounts reside. And it would decline to engage in proprietary trading, in-house investment products, and any form of compensation from outside investment managers.
