Ecole Des Arts Décoratifs

The École nationale supérieure des Art Décoratifs is a public institution of higher education under the authority of the French Ministry of Culture. Its purpose is to provide high-level artistic, scientific, and technical training for artists and designers, and to conduct research. The Ecole des Arts Décoratifs has been a place of intellectual, creative, and artistic wealth for more than 250 years. It offers studies in 10 departments: Interior Architecture, Art, Animation, Graphic Design, Product Design, Textile and Texture Design, Fashion Design, Printed Image, Photography/ Video, and Stage Design. Attended by 827 French and foreign students the Ecole offers a diploma recognized as a Master's degree. Its research center, EnsadLab, has research groups working in fields of art and design. It conducts interdisciplinary research projects with public and private partners and delivers a PhD - doctoral national diploma through the Sacre (Sciences, Arts, Création, Recherche) programm, in cooperation between six institutes of PSL (Paris Sciences et Lettres), of which the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs is a partner.
