EAGLEPROJECTS was born with the intent to bring innovation in the field of design software. The idea is to provide our clients an integrated approach able to thoroughly follow all the different stages of the project. The aim of the work is to digitalize the entire design process, starting from the initial feasibility analysis up to the as-built stage. The old approach to design has been abandoned with the intent of completely avoid the use of paper. This allows a direct connection between the design and the final execution, even if the two stages are physically executed in different areas of the world, so to be able, for example, to perform the design in Italy and the execution in South America with a real time connection and data exchange between the different locations. We developed our "Gisfo" design platform with this aim in mind, and it has evolved over time up to the point that the design can now be carried out in real time both remotely and on site thanks to the use of the new technologies. Eagleprojects carries out many activities related to three main macro areas: 1. Design: involves the elaboration of FTTH-BC networks, the development of optical fiber infrastructures with the support of on-site operators, the design support services for all phases from the preliminary stage to the detailed executive design through the walk-in, walk-out, site visit surveys, the requests for permits and the operational support / back office. 2. Work management: mainly concerning the support for project planning and construction management of the installation within large urban areas. 3. Software development: it involves the implementation of web-based GIS - Geographic Information Systems (GIS) - platforms dedicated to the opical fiber design with automated production of project data and documents (network schematics, fiber diagrams, metric calculations, etc.) and development of specific tools following the client needs. Furthermore, thanks to the development of proprietary BIM softwares the procedures for the supervision of works and planning are eased with respect to the traditional procedures.
