ds architects is an architectural design and planning practice focussed on providing the highest levels of design and technical skills across educational, industrial, science and health care projects. Our experience covers Greenfield sites, refurbishment work and adaptive reuse of buildings. We are a team of committed and passionate architects and interior designers driven to deliver unique, innovative and functionally planned buildings. We pride ourselves on our problem solving abilities and we take a holistic approach to our projects in considering how it will operate, how it will look, what it will cost and how it will be procured. We are proud of our on-going relationships with some of Australia’s premium businesses and institutions including The University of Melbourne, Monash University, Deakin University, Devondale Murray Goulburn and Kenworth Trucks. We work closely with some of the best consultants in Australia to provide a coordinated design service that addresses all aspects of the project from feasibility, through planning, design, compliance and construction. We work with our clients to establish the best procurement approach for each project and have experience in delivering projects via lump sum contracts, design and construct and novation. Our work on projects with disparate stakeholders, including Facility Managers, CEOs, User Groups and Department Heads gives us experience in balancing differing needs on projects and producing an outcome that satisfies all stakeholders. We understand the importance of communicating our ideas to our clients and producing high quality, coordinated documentation. Our practice is highly technologized and uses the latest in computer software to generate designs, renders, walkthroughs and drawings. Established over 30 years ago, our practice has a solid knowledge base for running projects and uses mature office systems to manage our projects.
