Dance Against Cancer

Dance Against Cancer (DAC) was founded in 2010 by Erin Fogarty and Daniel Ulbricht. Friends, artists, and children of parents who bravely battled cancer, DAC’s mission is to bring the global dance community together to fight cancer through dance events including a one-night-only annual performance all benefiting the American Cancer Society. DAC has raised over $2 million for the American Cancer Society to date.Past participants include: Isabella Boylston, James Whiteside, Misty Copeland, Stella Abrera, Gillian Murphy, Herman Cornejo (American Ballet Theatre), Tiler Peck, Tyler Angle, Taylor Stanley, Wendy Whelan (New York City Ballet), Matthew Rushing and Clifton Brown (Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater), Ayodele Casel, BalletX, Earl Mosley’s Diversity of Dance, Jacob Jonas The Company, Michelle Dorrance, Robert Fairchild, members from Paul Taylor Dance Company and more.
