Dale Rogers Training Center

Founded in 1953, Dale Rogers Training Center (DRTC) is the oldest and largest community vocational training and employment center for individuals with disabilities in Oklahoma. With offices across the state, DRTC trains or employs approximately 1,000 people with disabilities per year.It is thrilling to daily help folks: find a job, get a job and stay happy in a job while learning new skills and interactions.A glance at some of DRTC's programs:Sub-contract/manufacturing work-- DRTC can provide assembly, fulfillment, mailing, prep, labeling, packaging, folding and pre-staging services.Employment Services-- Award-winning program that assists people with disabilities to obtain and maintain community employment. Job Coaches work with employees to learn the job, at no cost to the employer, and eventually fades from the site as the worker becomes skilled at his/her job.Community Employment-- DRTC holds contracts with federal entities, including Tinker Air Force Base.Mobile Workforce-- Participants receive paid vocational training and visit various work sites completing projects alongside a trained DRTC supervisor.Prism Place-- Employees craft custom trophies and awards, and hand sand, buff and polish acrylic awards. Both wholesale and retail customers are welcomed with DRTC’s one-of-a-kind service.Wyman Frame-- Offers a wide range of high-quality, competitively priced picture framing products and services, including picture frame moulding, glass, matboard, foamboard, hardware and other supplies. Prairie Spices-- In partnership with Cedar Hill Seasonings, DRTC employees package these Made in Oklahoma spices for sale in our Robin’s Corner Gift Shop and online store.
