AMBYESE’s Overview
AMBYESE stands for Annual Multicultural Business Youth Educational Services Embarkment. AMBYESE is a 30-year-old,IRS 501 (c)(3) tax exempt all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization that seeks to help culturally-diverse, college-bound high school students from Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y., achieve their educational goals through mentoring, summer programs, conferences and Symposium on Transitioning from High School to College. Students aiming for careers in accounting, finance, business, information technology, engineering, law, communications, human resources, marketing and medicine can participate in the free 30th AMBYESE Conference, which is being held on Saturday, 11/09/13, from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at UConn’s Stamford campus. Interested students can sign up via participating companies and at the guidance department of participating high schools. AMBYESE is seeking its participating companies assistance in identifying employees who are experienced in the above disciplines to volunteer as mentor/role models for the 30th AMBYESE Conference. Interested employees can sign up via their participating company’s AMBYESE volunteer coordinator.
