About Custom Helicopters Ltd.

Custom Helicopters was founded in 1977 and has grown to a fleet of over 20 helicopters.  Our head office is located at St. Andrew’s Airport in Winnipeg and we have operational bases throughout Canada. Custom Helicopters’ versatile helicopter fleet allows us to provide a variety of services including mineral exploration, seismic support, powerline maintenance, oil & gas support, emergency medical services, wildlife surveys, live animal capture, forest fire suppression, diamond drill support, corporate transportation, motion picture support, aerial inspection and helicopter maintenance repair & overhaul.  

Custom’s parent company is Exchange Income Corporation (www.exchangeincomecorp.ca). EIC currently owns subsidiaries in two niche operating segments, Aviation and Manufacturing.  The operating entities within the aviation segment provide diversified services covering most aviation sectors, including scheduled airline and charter services and emergency medical services. In providing those services the aviation segment utilizes both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.  In addition to Custom Helicopters, EIC owns Calm Air, Perimeter Aviation, Bearskin Airlines, Keewatin Air, and Provincial Aerospace/Airlines.
