Construction Materials Engineers, Inc. has operated in northern Nevada for more than 35 years and provides a full range of geotechnical engineering, construction administration, project inspection, materials testing, and materials design. CME has a large staff of certified testing and inspection personnel. Most of our field personnel are cross-trained in both inspection and testing, allowing on-site personnel to conduct materials sampling and testing, which often eliminates the increased expense of an added technician to conduct materials testing. We perform professional services on all project types including buildings, roadways, airports, bridges, mining, power, development, environmental, and infrastructure projects throughout Nevada and northeastern California. CME has an AASHTO accredited on-site laboratory at our office in Reno, and we are certified to provide testing of hot mix asphalt, soils, aggregate, and concrete. Additionally, we have complete mobile laboratories for providing services on-site, as well as specialized equipment such as a DAQlink-III Refraction Microtremor (ReMi), MIT-SCAN2-BT Dowel Bar Sensor System, Wildcat Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP), Germann Instruments Concrete Chloride Ion Permeability Equipment, NDT Ultrasonic Weld Testing Equipment, FACE Dipstick 2272 Floor Flatness Profiler, and more.
