The Connecticut General Assembly (CGA) is the state legislature of the U.S. state of Connecticut. It is a bicameral body composed of the 151-member lower Connecticut House of Representatives and the 36-member upper Connecticut Senate. It meets in the state capital, Hartford. Legislative Internship Program is offered in the Spring academic semester to correspond with the Connecticut General Assembly’s Legislative Session. While working within the General Assembly, our interns gain behind the scenes insight into the legislative players and the policy making process. Pared with our academic and supplemental programming, we offer a unique opportunity for students to earn credit along with practical experience and access to connections that will last a lifetime.
