Community Heights Neighborhood Organization

Community Heights Neighborhood Organization, Inc is a registered 501c(3) Not For Profit organization and is located on the east side of Indianapolis. The neighborhood boundaries are: 21st Street on the north, 10th Street on the south, Arlington Avenue on the east, Emerson Avenue on the west. The boundaries have stayed the same since the late 1940's and early 1950's when the residential subdivisions began development. Community Heights was formally named Eastside Community Organization (ECO) from 1978 through September 2007 when the members selected Community Heights as the new organization name. Learn more. Mission Statment: The mission of the Community Heights Neighborhood Organization is to nurture and enhance the quality of life of neighborhood residents, businesses and institutions by: improving neighborhood interaction and vitality; upgrading infrastructure quality; advancing public safety; developing housing quality; enriching commercial nodes and corridors; and supporting institutional uses and users. Monthly Meetings The organization meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in a room at Arlington Heights Baptist Church located at the corner of 16th and Audubon Dr. All residents and business owners are welcome.
