Stupino Metallurgical Company (abbreviated as CMK) is a producer of
forgings in nickel-based superalloys and alloyed steels. The plant started
its history in 1932, 100 km south of Moscow and was designed and built
in record time as rolling mill to produce aluminium avia-sheets. Over the
decades our plant grew into a truly multi-profile industrial company and
includes today foundry for nickel-based alloys, forging facilities, heattreatment
facilities, powder metallurgy workshop, casthouse for aluminium
alloys, aluminium rolling mill and aluminium extrusion workshop.
Our core activity is melting and hot processing (open and closed-die
forging) superalloys, aluminium alloys and titanium alloys. CMK is a unique
metallurgical complex embracing full production process for nickel-based
alloys, from air or vacuum melting and vacuum or slag remelting, through
open and closed-die forging, drop stamping and heat-treatment, up to
preliminary turning on lathes. Besides traditional forging, our plant runs
powder metallurgy workshop to meet requirements of the most demanding
industries and work conditions..
