Citizens for Citizens, Inc. (CFC) is a Community Action Agency headquartered in Fall River, MA. Incorporated in 1965 under the Economic Opportunity Act to serve as the Community Action Agency of Greater Fall River, CFC now serves the vast majority of Bristol County, providing a wide range of services to over 34,000 clients. Major programs include LIHEAP, Weatherization, Head Start, Family Planning, and Food Pantry. CFC is funded by a variety of sources, including the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG). CFC's mission is to advocate on behalf of low-income residents and address the causes and effects of poverty through the provision of direct and integrated services, the promotion of self-sufficiency, and the advancement of social change.
