Ches's Famous Fish and Chips has been serving up the best Fish and Chips in Newfoundland & Labrador since 1951. From the humble beginning in downtown St. John's, Ches Barbour rowed through "The Narrows" daily to the catch the Cod Fish that would be served later that day in his restaurant. Though the menu has grown beyond just Fish and Chips, this dedication to serving only the best fish of the highest quality is still the driving force in the restaurants bearing his name today. In the 1980's the company began to expansion that today has grown into seven restaurants through eastern and central Newfoundland and Labrador. The Ches's Fish and Chips of today is a full service franchise business that is currently seeking driven, outgoing individuals whom are looking to begin a career that is rewarding and will give back to those individuals or teams willing to put their heart into it.
