Catalpa Special Inspections is a full professional service firm providing Special and Progress Inspection services as required under recent changes being put into effect under the 2008 Edition of the New York City Building Codes. Our team of architects, engineers and trained inspectors have many years experience dealing with all of the Architectural, Structural, HVAC, Electrical and Energy Code inspections required under both the 2008 and 1968 Building Codes. Brought on board during the Construction Drawings phase of any project we can assist the project team in correctly identifying all of the inspections required. As construction progresses we coordinate with the General Contractors and his subs to schedule individual inspections to ensure ongoing code compliance without delay to the project schedule
