CASA for Douglas County (Omaha, NE) is an independent non-profit organization that trains and empowers CASA volunteers to advocate for the best interests of vulnerable children who have been removed from their homes.
A part of the National CASA/GAL network, CASA for Douglas County is powered by a small staff and citizen Volunteer Advocates. CASA for Douglas County works alongside community and agency partners to ensure that vulnerable children are able to thrive in safe, loving, permanent homes.
Our trained CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to be an independent voice for these children throughout the court process and in the community. We accept CASA volunteer applications on a rolling basis throughout the year - so if you want to make meaningful change in our community, join us today about becoming a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate and help change a child's story!
