Capper Industrial Contractors

I am currently working as a business development manager for a medium sized industrial contractor specializing in the petro chemical industry. My initial remit was to put the organisation in a position where it was able to manage a national growth initiative and be able to sustain that development program that was planned. That has been successful and the growth plan is now in operation. We have a number of large clients including ICI, Brunner Mond, INEOS and E-On. I manage all the HR and personnel for the company which includes the line management of the administration staff. I also head up all the training and development for the organisation and have written a full tool box set of training aids, induction training program and a management package for supervisors. My role also includes delivering all training. I have reorganized all the main working practices of the organisation and led on the work needed to gain ISO accreditation in H+S, Environment and Management which we gained in January this year. I manage all the health and safety for the company in the difficult and technical area of the petro chemical industry. I conduct general management duties as well as negotiating and meeting all our major clients and prospective customers.
