Hi! We are Cacao&Co - a farm-to-table chocolate making company. Our mission is to ensure that those at the bottom of the cocoa supply chain - small farm holders and local workers in west Africa - are paid a real living wage. We aim to do this by either taking direct ownership of farmland, or by making close relationships with local cacao farmers - and in either case, paying a fair percentage of profits to those on the ground doing the hardest work. We will also hold ourselves accountable for our environmental impact - which we hope would appeal to the ‘hip’ and socially conscious consumers here in London - but we also believe that’s just the right thing to be doing; especially in West Africa, where pollution is a real issue.
