The Liberty pouch manufactured by BioDerm is the first new technology for male bladder control in 50 years.
The Liberty pouch has a special hydrocolloid adhesive which seals around the end of the male anatomy and protects the skin from infections, skin irritation, ulcers and pressure sores. Because this device is a closed system, it eliminates the smell of urine. This device is for any man/child who needs to wear a diaper, pull-up or a pad and for any mobility challenged male/child who can’t get to the bathroom in time. It is discretely worn under the underwear in a special support sleeve.
Medicare/Medicaid and Private insurance companies are paying for this device with a Letter of Medical necessity from a doctor and a copy of the nurse’s progress report.
