We continued to expand with new property management companies, corporate facilities, and HOAs. Labor shortages continue to present challenges for our industry. One of the most rewarding aspects of owning a business lies in encouraging and providing employees with the opportunity and training to advance, and then witnessing the personal growth, confidence, and contributions that result from their expanded skills and experience. With emphasis on training, teamwork and mutual respect, we’ve successfully established a very talented core group of landscape gardeners, crew leaders, irrigation technicians, landscape construction personnel, supervisors, and managers. We completed many successful landscape renovation projects in 2018. It is exciting to convert the older high water use lawns, ivy, and aged plantings to new landscapes featuring colorful, drought tolerant, modern plant materials, and drip irrigation. Along with increased attractiveness and curb appeal, property owners appreciate the ROI associated with the sustainability and water cost savings of their new landscapes.Success in business come down to people and process.
