Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ACSC) is the largest and oldest shipping company on the Caspian sea. History of shipping industry of Azerbaijan dates back to the middle of 19th century, and during 19th and 20th centuries ACSC was the only operating shipping company on the Caspian sea. Today, ACSC comprises of Sea Transportation Fleet of 61 vessels which provide cargo shipping services; Caspian Sea Oil Fleet of 186 ships and vessels which provide offshore services; 2 modern ship repair and maintenance yards; Azerbaijan State Marine Academy which is higher educational institution; and Training and Education Center which is equipped with modern simulators. Currently, more than 9,200 staff are employed by ACSC (including nearly 5,300 professional sailing personnel). Our mission: As a leading shipping company on the Caspian sea region, our mission is to support a harmonious and continuous flow of international freights between Asia and Europe, and expand the geography of our operations outside the Caspian sea.
