Ashcake Volunteer Rescue Squad

Ashcake Volunteer Rescue Squad, a 100% volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, is dedicated to serving Hanover County, Virginia's emergency needs. Our support and service efforts take the form of on-duty EMT and/or paramedic crews most nights each week and some days and weekends as available. As part of the Ashcake community, the rescue squad exists to serve the emergent needs of the community as identified through Hanover County’s 911 system and to partner with surrounding neighborhoods, schools, organizations, groups, and individuals to promote education and awareness for health and safety. As a 100% volunteer, non-profit corporation, Ashcake VRS relies on community support through donations in order to provide funding for equipment, training, and medical supplies.
