ALEH is a warm home and a loving family for more than 750 of Israel’s most vulnerable citizens – children, adolescents and adults with severe complex disabilities. Committed to finding the abilities within every disability, ALEH empowers its residents to advance well beyond their initial prognoses and live happy, dignified, and meaningful lives.ALEH operates as a global community based on the principles of sensitivity, commitment and kindness, and leads the charge for disability inclusion, equity and access in Israel and beyond. Through experiential education programming, youth leadership and community engagement, ALEH is successfully changing societal attitudes towards individuals with disabilities and building a better, more caring world.
