About Acres of Love
Providing unconditional love, the highest quality of care, and FAMILY to children orphaned in South Africa.
Every child deserves a family. So instead of providing for basic needs in an orphanage, Acres of Love moved away from institutional orphan care to enable and empower children to “thrive, not just survive.” Our passionate team works to meet the unique and complex needs of children, once orphaned and abandoned.
The mission of Acres of Love is to rescue and care for children abandoned or orphaned due to AIDS, abuse, and extreme proverty in South Africa. We also advocate for the rights of orphans to obtain world class health-care, education, and nutrition. Our Forever Family Homes are recognized and licensed by the RSA Department of Social Services and Population Development as Child and Youth Centers Homes in South Africa.
