About Yfoundations
Yfoundations is the NSW non-governmental peak organisation for youth homelessness. We work to promoting the five foundations that support young people including wellbeing, connections, home & place, diversity and fairness. For over thirty years we have acted as a leader on youth homelessness policy and research having advised Government and other bodies on how to prevent, identify and support young people affected by homelessness.
We also provide important direct support services to young people facing crisis. We run a Yconnect line which offers the only statewide referrals for young people needing accommodation in NSW. Along with Yconnect we offer a range of health trainings for young people and workers.
At Yfoundations, our overriding principle is that young people matter and that childhood experiences and family background shouldn't inhibit anyone from achieving their dreams.
