Windwave and Inland Development Corporation were founded in Morrow County, Oregon in 2004 for the express purpose of bringing cutting edge technology and fiber optic infrastructure to rural Eastern Oregon. Windwave and Inland remain committed to providing fiber optic technology to our schools, hospitals, and communities to improve the education of our children, the safety and health care of our citizens, and the advancement of economic development. Headquartered in Boardman, Oregon, Windwave is a community driven, a locally-owned fiber-optic communications company. Serving several regional markets in Eastern Oregon, and built on a backbone of secure, in-ground facilities, Windwave's network leverages over 1,000 route miles of company-owned or controlled optical fiber. Our investment in next generation technologies positions us to be the premier provider of Wavelength solutions throughout Eastern Oregon. In business since 2004, Windwave is an Oregon corporation operating as an OPUC-certified competitive telecommunications and internet access service provider. Windwave works along with Inland Development Corporation, an Oregon nonprofit corporation dedicated to providing advanced broadband facilities and services to schools, hospitals, and government entities in underserved areas.
