Western Founders Network

Founders Network is a student-run startup incubator program at Western University. Our goal is to foster technology entrepreneurship through improving programming literacy and promoting computer science as an interdisciplinary still set. Founders Network engages students who have an interest in technology startups, but do not necessarily want to pursue computer science as a full-time degree. We offer free mobile development courses taught by student volunteers regardless of your academic background. We strive to build a community of students that are just as innovative and passionate as you. We envision an environment that is diverse in background and also diverse in ideas, where members can connect with future partners spanning a range of different faculties. Look no further than Founders Network to assemble your very own dream team. Founders Network offers a variety of introductory educational programs that provide our members with the tools they need to bring ideas to market. These include technical training like the iOS development workshop and operations tutorials, which will cover the entire startup process from incorporating and filing tax returns to running a marketing campaign. These programs will be available free of charge to all members. The instructors in the educational programs will comprise of senior students at Western University who have prior experiences in the field.
