Winterstone traces its roots back to 1847, Germany. The company has grown since, thriving with its innovative and high performance products for the stone market.

In 1955, already a precursor in the stone market, Winterstone established a new production facility in Germany. In the following years, subsidiaries were set up in South Africa, France, Greece and India.

In 2003, Winterstone was acquired by WA and the company’s growth and focus on innovation continued in 2006 through the new offer of a diamond disc with 4000 mm diameter, a first in the industry, developed for granite cutting.

Winterstone Turkey was established in 2007, which has become the leader of its market.

Winterstone, today is a global actor in the production of diamond tools used for extraction, primary and secondary cutting applications.
