Unscripted Learning is committed to enriching the lives of individuals, by providing educational opportunities for creative expression through improvised theatre.

We have three major areas that we are focused on:

CONNECTIONS
CONNECTIONS serves teenagers and young adults living in San Diego County who are impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There are very few programs like CONNECTIONS that offer teenagers and young adults with ASD the opportunity to use improvised theatre as a platform for improving upon their social and communication skills and being prepared for post-secondary education or employment as they age.

ACTIVE MINDS
Active Minds is an educational program for seniors that teaches improvisational acting techniques and skills to improve cognitive ability, foster brain health, broaden creative expression and help increase social interaction.

HIGH SCHOOL IMPROV LEAGUE
Through a partnership with the National Comedy Theatre, Unscripted Learning operates a robust program in San Diego whereby high schools are trained and compete in inter-school improvised comedy performances. This program has been running since 2000, and consists of up to 20 high schools throughout the county.
