About U+R Design Collaborative

U+R Design Collaborative is a full-service architecture firm serving the Texas Hill Country, Austin, and San Antonio. We offer services for projects of all types and sizes including: residential, multi-family, commercial, religious, and institutional buildings. We endeavor to find innovative approaches to address the needs of our clients, best utilize sites, appropriately weigh cost and schedule. Our innovative methods maximize value and offer positive, delightful, and memorable contributions to the built environment and the landscape.

What does U+R mean? The “U” stands for "urban", the “R” for "rural". The distinct conditions, design opportunities, and challenges, associated with each of these environments reflects our interests, breadth of work, and our approach to each design challenge we encounter.

Design Collaborative? U+R is the result of a partnership between Curtis Fish and Delineations, Inc., Marble Falls, to offer additional services in expanded regions. Delineations, led by Jerome Rugen, which has over 30 years in the design business and hundreds of projects under its belt in the Texas Hill Country region, supports U+R’s staffing, operations, and adds immense local and regional expertise. This collaborative relationship affords U+R tremendous flexibility to appropriately staff and technically support a range of project types and sizes with unique expertise.
