UDIA Queensland

The Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) is a national not-for-profit organisation representing the property development industry. Established in 1971 the Queensland office is the largest of the UDIA state bodies. Our members are property development professionals and our business is about building communities. The role of the UDIA Qld is to act as thought leaders, advocate on behalf of the industry and convert opportunities into outcomes. In real terms, we work with government to stimulate the industry and the economy; we create events that inform and connect across the State, we source, analyse and report on industry data and trends that will make a difference. Our extensive network on-the-ground metropolitan and regional members ensures we are able to speak with an informed voice on the complex issues our industry faces. With 12 regional branches, our strong structure across the State informs our grass-roots knowledge of local areas and allows us to maintain strength and deliver on the important issues Queensland wide. Importantly, the health of our industry impacts all Queenslanders - from economic prosperity to job creation; the delivery of affordable housing through to the establishment and growth of thriving communities. As an industry we recognise that what's good for people is good for our business; and what's good for our business is good for people. The UDIA Qld works with the development industry and stakeholders to make this real every day.
