Theatre For A Change

Our goal is the empowerment of the most vulnerable and marginalised women and girls worldwide. Women and girls across the world still face significant barriers to good sexual and reproductive health and gender equality. Theatre for a Change works with groups who are at high risk of having poor sexual and reproductive health, and who have limited opportunities to assert their rights. Using a unique combination of drama and participatory learning, we enable these groups to recognise the patterns of behaviour that put their health at risk, and equip them with the knowledge, attitudes and skills they need to change them. Through this process, our participants are empowered to tell their stories through Interactive Theatre, which changes attitudes and affects decision making at local, national and international levels.
