The Shipyard Marina

The Shipyard Marina Mission To encourage and celebrate the responsible use and long-term stewardship of the Hudson River by fostering educational and recreational opportunities for all members of our community and beyond. Overview The Shipyard Marina is a home to boating enthusiasts and businesses that promote the responsible recreational use of the beautiful Hudson River. Our Hoboken Sailing club has a large fleet of sailboats for our members that are docked in the head of the marina. We have a 45 foot classic yacht charter, guided jet ski tours, a charter cycleboat and paddleboard and kayak tours for our community to enjoy. A critical component of our organization is our school. Teaching the youth in our community how to safely recreate in the River opens up a world of opportunities that can change lives. It is through water recreation that we become stewards of our riverfront. The ecology of the Hudson River is moving in a positive direction with the advent of the Clean Water Act of 1977. We can fish, swim and recreate which mimics the joy our ancestors found in New York Harbor.
