That is why Portland Kettle Works is engineering the ultimate 3.5 Bbl steam pilot brewery that is highly flexible, and allows efficient scaling to your full sized system. The Brewery: • Professional grade Nano steam brew house with state of the art components • On Site professional brewery staff to assist in optimizing your brew session • 3-roller brewers mill with infinite adjustment control • Auger driven grain in with integrated mash hydrator • Automated temperature controlled mash tun • Precise measurement systems including digital temperature readouts and flow meters • On site mini laboratory • Integrated pumps with VFD’s • Brew kettle with a proprietary internal heat exchanger for a robust boil • Glycol control system with wireless user interface so the brewer can monitor the fermentation process from abroad • On site keg washer and filler The Process You select a date and time, and show up ready to brew with your specialty ingredients. The Labrewatory provides base malt, and a seasoned brewing assistant to help with the brewing session. At the end of the day your product is in the fermentation vessel and you monitor fermentation remotely. You have access to the brewery during normal business hours or by appointment to sample or adjust ingredients. At the end of fermentation either you or our staff will carbonate your beer and keg the product. The Payback: The quality product produced at the Labrewatory goes home with you, and makes your beer and your brewery distinctive. The Labrewatory is a FULLY LICENSED brewery, which means your product can be sold. The Feedback Loop: The Labrewatory keeps one barrel of your brew session beer for sale in the Labrewatory Tap Room where blind tasting customer feedback on the beer is immediately available. You will know what works based on feedback from some of the most critical beer advocates in the nation.
