The Animal Guardian Society

It is our mission to provide re-homing and medical care to displaced companion animals and to support the community in areas of humane education, behaviour counseling, the promotion of responsible pet ownership, and the needs of animals. Our program consists of a "pack" of dedicated individuals who volunteer their time to the cause of Animal Rescue, Adoption and Humane Education. The TAGS program is 100% volunteer, we have no paid staff. Our charity is not funded through any form of grants or government support. The Animal Guardians raise funds to care for our animals through fundraiser's, and the generosity of animal lovers who donate. Our program routinely receives numerous requests from local animal shelters to take needy dogs. TAGS has always been known to help the dogs that no one else will, the old, the sick, the dogs that need a lot of training. We never turn away from any animal in need.
