Swarm Basketball

The Swarm was founded in 2008 out of Central Massachusetts and was taken over by Mike Byrnes in the winter of 2016. The program quickly grew from 5 to 20 teams and has expanded in several regions and locations at each skill level for boys and girls grades 3-12, and is now the largest club basketball program in the country. The Swarm currently has seventeen different regional locations running out of thirteen different states including Massachusetts (Central Mass Swarm, Bay State Swarm, and Metro West Swarm), Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey (New Jersey Swarm at Total Turf and Sportika), New York (Westchester Swarm, Long Island Swarm), New Jersey, Indiana (Great Lakes Swarm), Iowa, Cincinnati, Texas, Delaware, New Hampshire, and Florida (DME Swarm at Daytona Beach) Our program serves basketball players all over the country, and starts by teaching them developmental skills from a young age and continue our instruction through connecting them with collegiate opportunities. The Swarm now has a growing list of players playing at the prep school level through the collegiate level all over the country. We began a partnership with the Jr. NBA starting in 2018 in hopes of enhancing our overall experience, as well as creating opportunities for everyone in the program. The Jr. NBA was created with the vision of enhancing participants character, fundamentals, sportsmanship, and teamwork. At the Swarm, we believe in these core values and stress them to all members of our organization, from the CEO through the coaches and players.
