Support Local is the online marketplace of Ammanford that allows small businesses to sell locally... online. Simply put, not all small businesses have the budget, the expertise or the time to manage an e-commerce site to sell their products online. Some companies may even have thought about it, but decided it isn't really fro them. Support Local provides an easy, cheap and quick way for small businesses in and around the Ammanford area to get their products online to sell to locally. A business such as a hairdresser or cafe may think that this doesn't suit them, but if they sell voucher in-store, why not give the option online. Support Local was set up during the Coronavirus outbreak in 2020 to help struggling businesses sell online when they forced to close doors and still earn a small income. Using social media, the local community pulled together to support local businesses and shared this site online to draw attention.
