StormTree provides conventional closed box systems and its unique “open design” which allows for unobstructed root growth allowing for healthy and maturing tree development to enhance the urban forestry canopy. Complete turnkey systems come in several dimensions and typically include pretreatment features such as interior sumps or attached catch basins to collect and segregate sand and debris for ease of maintenance. Systems can be easily configured to receive stormwater via curb inlet, subsurface direct-pipe connection, or roof drains.
