Hardware development including development research, design architecture, schematic entry, PCB layout, technical documentation, technical illustration, and manufacturing. Mechanical modeling and prototyping. Software development for custom embedded systems including embedded Linux, embedded firmware, and device drivers. This includes the development of customized boot strap code, secure systems, and the development of new technologies. Embedded system development is generally performed in C with assembly. In some specific cases, C++ may be utiized for portions of the software. FPGA development under Verilog or VHDL. Test bench development.
