Sensemakers works specifically in the sectors of Employability & Skills creating bespoke solutions for our clients based on insight, experience and a proven track record. Our knowledge across the Workforce Development/Skills arena is extensive and we have solutions that will challenge current practice.
Historically it has been difficult to engage with 16-24 year olds in the Employability and Skills world. Typically, it is not appreciated the differences that exist between the generations. Our methods of engagement, interaction and communication needs to change to reflect this if we want to attract this age group onto our programmes or apprenticeships.
The Boss Kit has been designed to provide a solution to Training and Employment Providers enabling them to more effectively engage with hard to reach audience. It is an innovative online tool for 16 to 24 year olds looking for support to further their learning through Apprenticeships. Boss Kit is all about improving choice for young people. Informal and youth friendly, its aim is to encourage them to be the decision makers, to take control of what they want and to choose who they want a service from. What this gives you as a Training Provider is someone who is already more engaged because they have been the driver in the process and have been empowered to make their own choice. This will have a positive impact on your retention and achievement rates as long as you can continue to engage the young person in the Gen-Y way.
